I always felt that "Buried in your Black heart" sort of sounded errie similar to "Hell below/stars above" and could have easily been a track on that album.

For the rest of those songs mentioned though. I always thought of Toadies and Burden Brothers as two different bands with a unique sound even though both bands have Vaden as the vocalist.

Toadies are alot more aggressive sounding and the BB had more of a classic rock feel to the songs. The shows rather it be Toadies or Burden Brothers have a different feel to them as well. Both great live shows, but just different. I know this probably doesn't make any sense. :D It's hard to explain.

The only one that really comes straight to mind is "Your Fault." I haven't listened to it in awhile so i'm not sure if it really fits the criteria but I always thought it was one of the better BB songs.

"open can of worms...."

I think "Come on Down" sounds "Toadies" to me.

Of course "Dirty Sanchez" Mainly because I would like to hear it live one more time.......

Others that might make the cut......"Shine" or "I Am A Cancer" or "400 Bucks" or "Czar" or "Shadow."

All have that vibe that is undeniable Toddy or Toadies. :P

To me anyway.

There are some Burden Brother songs I'm glad that are not Toadies songs and I am glad to not have to heard them live again....

I'll save that list for another post......

i have to agree with night shadow. i am obsessed with the toadies and really like the BB's. And i think they are very different bands. not many BB songs make me feel that strange "WTF is happening" feeling that toadies songs give me. toadies songs are just unexplainably different. that being said, " hang your head" is the closest in my book. some of the edgier BB tracks that VTL just wails on come kinda close but much more of an arena rock type sound than any toadies stuff. the shows are also very different, like night shadow previously said. i have seen a couple of BB shows, and close to 10 toadies shows and both are great, but very different. it is hard to grasp that one guy can be the mastermind behind two completly different sounding projects, but that is why, in my opinion, VTL is the best in the bizz.

I think Buried in Your Black Heart, but that's probably it.

yep, It's a Rev Horton Heat song. I got to finally see another Rev Horton Heat show this past Friday. An Awesome show. When they played 400 Bucks the place went bonkers. They pretty much behaved like we do when the Toadies play Tyler.
The Toadies may have covered 400 bucks as well, but I only saw the BB cover it.
