To be clear, I wasn't trying to put down the band or management. I realize this stuff goes on all the time. The band needs to do what they need to do. I had been holding out on ordering because I was waiting for Itunes. Itunes didn't even have a preorder or anything when I checked on Monday. I went ahead and ordered the CD because I wanted to have it to listen to a few times before I see the band in a couple of weeks. I figured Itunes might not have it before the street date of 8/10. I will probably end up buying again for the bonus track. I just hate that this is what the music industry has become. I used to preorder music from my favorite bands all the time, but these days I find myself holding out to see who has the "best" version available.

Understood. In that case I fully agree with you.

I understand fully, and I agree as well.

I understand being an "album only" thing, but I wish they would offer it up for a single download. For me, I have to have a physical copy of bands I am a die hard fan of. I like to see the artwork, and get the cd's signed. (when possible).
I got both, but still. The Beatles cover is great though.

So I bought Feeler at the show, knowing more profit goes directly to the band from merchandise sales at the show. After the show, I go on itunes thinking, maybe they released "Don't Let Me Down" as a b-side or something, and find it is an itunes only purchase, and only available if you buy the whole album. What gives?

I totally laughed at the use of that stanza
i want it too, but i want the pretty picture disc a little more. So my money is going there..
I wish they had released it as a true b-side, on a c.d or vinyl.
His vocals are just phenomenal when singing that song in concert.
